Guided by its first mission, the company is developing engaging and inclusive books tailored for children with additional needs. Its debut line of books will be centered on visually engaging stories that promote safety (in the home and community), developing wellness habits, adaptive literacy, and friendships.

Each story will be crafted with thoughtful illustrations, simple text and powerful narratives. These books are meant to be both educational and empowering. They aim to help equip children with the skills they need to feel secure and understood in their daily lives.

Kinyarrow’s founder, Z. Z. Özra, is an emerging author who took a bold step away from the traditional publishing path to chart her own course. Disinterested in the lengthy query and waiting process, she decided to create her own publishing company to take full control of her creative journey. Driven by a deep commitment to inclusive storytelling and a determination to bring her vision to life, Özra established her own independent publishing company, Kinyarrow.
